You need to be thorough and methodical and keep track of what you’ve done so other scientists can follow your experiments.
You need to be creative to think of new ways of doing things or seeing links between things that other scientists might have missed.
You need to be a good communicator so you’re able to explain your ideas to different people.

I think the most important thing about a scientist is to stay curious and enthusiastic about what you do!
Some days can be difficult in science: you do not have good results everyday, you can get stuck, but if you love what you do, you’ll overcome these difficulties without trouble. And if you’re enthusiastic about what you do, working will always be a pleasure and I think it’s essential to enjoy everyday life!
