I really like organising events, but most of what I organise (such as http://www.physics.ox.ac.uk/mariecurious – a day of science for girls aged 11-14) is based around science, so maybe that doesn’t count. I also used to blog about science (quarksnquirks.wordpress.com) but I don’t get round to it any more. But that’s also science! So let’s try again!

I like to sing, and I used to sing a lot in choirs – I really loved it and made loads of friends. I also got to travel to all sorts of awesome places like Mexico, France and the USA. I’m not in a choir at the moment, but I still sing at home, in the car, … whenever anyone isn’t listening, really!

I also cook quite a lot, and sometimes make ridiculous cakes – I made one for my partner’s birthday a couple of weeks ago that was shaped like a race track with cars on! I have a lot of fun cooking 🙂

I play guitar and used to play in a punk band.
I also enjoy playing board games, going to gigs and homebrewing!

I love playing music. If I don’t, my life feels empty.

I play the guitar, the piano, the ukulele and the bass. I also sing!

I can not decide a single hobby to be honest.
To relax, I usually swim, watch a good movie or reading a book (I usually read on commuting to work). I also play computer games.
If I have a little more time, I love to travel, to know other places. I like outdoor activities, such as hiking, or camping. But I do not have as much time as I would like. Now I’m involved in outreach activities that fill me up a lot and make me think about my work from other points of view.

Hard to pick one! I’d say I love cycling, especially when it’s sunny, or read a good book with a blanket when it’s raining!

I like playing football and I would say I’m best at being a striker. My favourite thing to do though is play on my PS4. After a long day of thinking and working it’s nice to just sit and go into a different world.
